These are the menswear happenings to have on your radar, including the ARMANI/Archivio project, Saul Nash as a ballet costume designer and Vans’ latest Premium Authentic model.
Saul Nash x Lululemon agree that ballet is very much alive
Despite’s ballet’s recent bad PR (or rather, an A-lister that shall remain unnamed’s controversial hot take on the art form), it remains a top priority for Saul Nash. The London-based designer’s ongoing collaboration with the sportswear giant Lulemon is a shoo-in, considering his knack for designing clothing inspired by the movement of the body. Naturally, his dancing and choreography background makes slipping into the Royal Ballet’s costumes an effortless motion. The thruway meeting-of-minds comes together in “Alchemies”, a near three-hour performance that debuted on the main stage this month, by Wayne McGregor, the renowned rhythmic virtuoso.
Corbin Shaw presents END. x New Balance
New Balance’s brand new ABZORB 1890 brings together the past, with its 2002 sole unit, and the present, with state of the art SBS ABZORB cushioning. To celebrate a new footwear staple launched in collaboration with the high-end streetwear retailer, the two tapped multimedia artist Corbin Shaw for an open-invite night that included set design and a live performance by Shaw himself. To top it all off, the shoes are available now.
Not only does Jacob Elordi look good in Chanel, but he smells good, too
“Who is Bleu” Chanel rather cheekily asked this week, teasing us with one of the most recognisable face in the current zeitgeist. Teasing, or soft-launching? Sending the internet into a Bleu frenzy, the Euphoria actor has been named as the Parisian Maison’s newest poster boy — because if there’s one thing Chanel knows about Elordi, it’s that no one ever seems to grow tired of him.
Giorgio Armani goes two for two on ARMANI/Archivio
A brand’s archive is like a priceless vault. Years of history that people will look back on fondly, hoping to get a glimpse of the past in the work we see today. Thankfully for us, Giorgio Armani wholeheartedly understands that notion, presenting us with the second instalment of its ARMANI/Archivio project. The Italian label’s work has always been timeless, so it’s no surprise that revived looks from 1979 to 1994 don’t look at all out of place in today’s context, with immortal suiting that oozes the essence of the late pioneer with signature boxy cuts and elegant drape. And being just in time for Milan Design Week, check out the new collection online and in-store now.
JW Anderson’s Summer Series looks best in the sun
With the recent string of consistent good weather, is it naive to say that summer is well and truly around the corner? Whatever this blessed time we’re going through is, JW Anderson is capitalising on the feeling with its latest Summer Series capsule that centres itself on bold graphics, vibrant colours and lightweight silhouettes. Striped knits look like they’d be at its optimum with a glass of wine in the sun-kiseed park, graphic tees adding a pop of flavour to the T-shirt and shorts combo and accessories get a breathable, woven treatment for more airflow. If any of this sounds like a bit of you, check out the new collection online and in-store now.
These Vans Authentics go with the leather flow

Via Vans
The Vans comeback is coming thick and fast – and yes, our very own Ollie Cox called it quite a while ago. Alas, the skate brand’s latest lifestyle model comes in the form of the Premium Authentic Ease, ditching traditional eye stays and a regular tongue for folded leather that does both at the same time, whilst also adding a bit of minimalist flair. The raw edge finish on the leather adds another depth of delicacy that’s simplistically elegant. The chunky foam midsole will also keep you going all-day with unmatched comfort for shredding at the park or a long commute in the city. Check them out now, available online and in-store now.
Canali gets lighter with the Nuvola Sneaker
With lightness being one of Canali’s main brand pillars, the full integration of the Nuvola project means we’ll be getting that signature streamlining all the time. The latest to fit within this vision is the Nuvola Sneaker, crafted in a calfskin suede that’s buttery soft and refined enough to fit into any gentleman’s wardrobe. The top-notch craftsmanship doesn’t stop there, with a stitched assembly, hand-painted piping and the Freccia pattern prevalent on the shoe’s panelling.
