What’s Good This Week: Samsøe Samsøe Taps In With Bryant Giles, Under Armour Looks To The Off-Season And More

Converse and Noah are back together

Converse and Noah, the menswear label founded by Brendon Babenzien and Estelle Bailey-Babenzien go together nicely. Both brands occupy a broad space where skateboarders and capital ‘M’ menswear dudes come together, and Converse actually helped build a skate bowl in Noah’s LA store. So a collaborative shoe with professional skateboarder and Noah team rider Louie Lopez feels right at home.

As part of the collaboration, the Louie Lopez 2 Pro gets a premium update. The green full-grain suede shoe features Converse’s signature perforated star chevron and Noah branding subtly embossed on the tongue. Check out this skate shoe on the Converse and Noah sites and in select retailers.

ASICS Sportstyle teams up with Little Tokyo Table Tennis

Los Angeles collective, Little Tokyo Table Tennis, has just modified ASICS’ stability-focused shoe to feel even sportier. Together, they’ve reimagined the Gel-Resolution™ 5, combining ASICS’s technical know-how with LTTT’s sportswear-infused design. The shoe is available in two colourways: bright green and white, with each pair coming in two different styles and coloured sets of laces. The green pair features a dual coloured bright yellow and green knit, while the white shoes are made with breathable wide-knit mesh and a red lacing support. The ASICS x LTTT Gel-Resolution™ 5 is available online and at selected retailers.

Dsquared2 and AS Roma kick-off a multi-year partnership

“Born in Canada, Made in Italy”, Dsquared2’s approach to fashion is a hybrid of Canadian iconography and modern Italian tailoring. In this multi-year partnership, Dsquared2 will exclusively design formalwear and casual uniforms for Men's and Women's First Team players, coaches, and staff of AS Roma, one of Italy’s most renowned football clubs. The official formal and casual uniforms will be unveiled later this year.

Samsøe Samsøe collabs with Bryant Giles for a capsule collection

Samsøe Samsøe has teamed up with multidisciplinary artist, designer and director Bryant Giles for a capsule collection. Take a dive into the offering, and you’ll find two premium tees featuring Giles’ original artwork and a leather shirt in muted caramel tones. Photographer Tenkou Ma shot it in Giles’ home neighbourhood in Tokyo, depicting the artist’s restless life and present emotional state. The collection is now available online and in select stores.

Callum Turner is the new Global Ambassador of Johnnie Walker Blue Label

Johnnie Walker Blue Label has just announced the recently wed British actor, Callum Turner, as its new Global Ambassador. The luxury Scotch whiskey maker marked the beginning of the year-long partnership via an Instagram post featuring Turner, who will soon be escaping the London heatwave on a trip to Scotland, to soak in the world of Johnnie Walker.

Romeo Beckham fronts Tommy Hilfiger’s “Always Denim” campaign

Romeo Beckham is the face of Tommy Hilfiger’s “Always Denim” campaign, where he joins Yasmin Wijnaldum and a next-generation cast of tastemakers on the roof of The Mark Hotel, the longtime symbol of the New York style scene. Classic American cool takes centre stage, celebrating the versatility of denim through a line of washes, fits and silhouettes. Beckham is seen in the ’90s-inspired “Theo” jeans and a cable knit sweater, until he swaps the fit for the classic straight-leg “Dover” jean and tucked shirt.

Goldwin wants to make daily dressing easier

Japanese label Goldwin nails clothes that work in Zone 2 natty wine bars – the kind that play niche records and invite you sit on scarily expensive furniture – but could also serve you well on the top of a mountain. With its latest Autumn/Winter 2026 campaign, it has gone deeper into the style side of things, focusing on stillness and motion. The ‘Trajectory’ functional series spotlights clothing that make daily life easier with a backpack vest in nylon and lightweight jackets. While the Tsubai insulated hoodie can be worn as an outer and mid-layer, keeping you warm without the bulk. The collection lands in stores and online from August 3.

TAG Heuer, Team Ikuzawa, and Bamford Watch Department pull up for round two

After the success of their 2023 inaugural partnership, TAG Heuer, Bamford Watch Department, and Team Ikuzawa are back. This collab brings TAG Heuer’s racing heritage, George Bamford’s renowned design expertise and Mai Ikuzawa’s distinct creative vision together in one watch.  Limited to just 150 numbered pieces, the fresh model reinterprets the 39mm TAG Heuer Carrera Glassbox, inspired by the archive Team Ikuzawa Roadmaster stopwatch. The team’s iconic red appears in accents throughout, from the lacquered hour and minute hands to the central chronograph seconds hand and the dedicated date disc. And just to add to the collaboration’s horsepower, the timepiece arrives in an authentic pit garage toolbox, loaded with additional straps, a travel pouch, and a collection of custom Team Ikuzawa charms designed for your keys and other accessories.

Under Armour’s “Rest Less”campaign puts the focus on the off-season

Under Armour’s latest campaign “Rest Less” campaign focuses on time off, but not how you might think. The campaign features football stars and UA athletes Ferran Torres, Fermín López, and Ollie Watkins, alongside artist Rilès, social creator Sharky, and actor Nick Mohammed, who all check into the fictional Hotel Armouré. Here, rest is treated as an extreme sport, and players are outfitted in the label’s latest AW26 collection. Because what happens when the trophy has been lifted and the out-of-office toggle has been turned on isn’t relaxing, it’s being active in its own lane, at least at the Hotel Armouré, anyway.
