Kicking off our latest Staff Picked series, Man About Town caught up with the Kith London team to talk staff uniform, the best-dressed co-worker and their go-to Kith Treats order.
When you’re browsing in a store, what heightens your shopping experience the most? The products (obviously), maybe the interior design? Or the real unsung heroes of retail: the staff. From their flawless style, perfectly attuned to the boutique’s aesthetic, to their endless charisma that keeps you coming back (even if it’s just for a chat), they do the legwork to ensure you leave with a smile on your face.
Keen to spotlight those behind-the-scenes characters in fashion, Man About Town caught up with the team at Kith London to talk the brand’s ethos, their favourite piece in-store, and the overarching style that defines it all.
Connor

Hi, my name is Connor. I am the Assistant General Manager here at Kith. I’ve been with Kith since probably around the middle of September 2025. It’s been an incredible journey so far, getting to work with such incredible people.
What about Kith attracted you to apply and join the team?
For me, Kith is the leader in all things retail. There isn’t another brand in the world that does retail and is still investing in retail the way that Kith does. For me, it was the only next step in the natural progression of my career.
What’s your Kith Treats order?
All day long, The Wifey. I don’t care what anybody else says, The Wifey is number one. Any day, any time, any season, The Wifey is the GOAT.
Aries

My name’s Aries and I’m originally from Zimbabwe. I’ve worked in luxury fashion for almost 20 years now. I previously worked for Kith almost two years, so I always knew I wanted to come back to Kith when the London store opened, no matter how I could be part of the team, and here I am. I’m one of the assistant managers.
What made you want to join the first time around?
It was more that I kind of just fell into the role. But literally, those two years were some of the best two years of my life.
Who’s best-dressed on the team?
I would say Hanad is actually one of the best-dressed. He always has a fit on, really good. I mean, can throw a fit together too.
Gan

My name is Gan. I’m from Hackney, originally Nigerian, and I’m a customer advisor so I’m here trying to get everybody to know about Kith.
What about Kith attracted you to join the team?
I’ve known about Ronnie Fieg, the founder, for a very long time. I liked all his collaborations that he did at first and then, eventually, when Kith came about, it was how the clothing was and everything about it. Just seeing from where it started to where it is now and when they had their first concession at Selfridges, I was always there just trying on whatever I could. So when I heard that there was a store opening, I was just excited to try and see if I could be a part of the team.
What’s your Kith Treats order?
Mine’s pretty basic to be fair. I get the non-dairy ice cream. and then cookie dough with the strawberry cheesecake pieces, man. Sensational. This is nothing too crazy, you have to be easy. I can’t deal with too many flavours, you know? And the cookie dough. Don’t forget the cookie dough.
Hanad

My name is Hanad, and I’m 22 years old. I was born in Somalia and I came here when I was 10 where I grew up in Essex. My role here is a CEA – a customer experience associate.
What is a typical Kith staff member’s daily uniform?
You will see a lot of people wearing Timberland boots and hats. I don’t know if you noticed, but everyone here has got a hat. We love hats at Kith.
Who’s got the best hat?
I’ll say my one.
In your view, what is Kith’s ethos and how does it align with you?
Definitely the culture, and it’s a lifestyle brand, so we do everything.
Marika

My name is Marika. I was born and raised in Greece, and moved to London almost a decade ago. I’m working in womenswear as a supervisor at Kith.
How would you define the style of the team?
I feel like everyone has their own personality and the thing that I love about Kith is the longevity and the intention behind it. You can’t copy, you can’t take anything from anyone, but at the same time, it’s about the idea behind it and how intentional everyone is with what they wear. They kind of showcase themselves without even speaking.
In your view, what is Kith’s ethos and how does it align with you?
The connection and the community that we have, even just by working here. We try to make an environment where you can come back and make friends to build a community with Kith – you never know who’s going to walk in through the door.
Sam

My name’s Sam and I’m from Hastings, East Sussex. I work at Kith doing Guest Experience.
What about Kith attracted you to apply and join the team?
I think Kith actually means friends and family. I didn’t really know anyone who worked here before, so it’s always nice to meet new people and connect with them. I like being part of a team, so that definitely drew me to join the company and work here.
How would you define the style of the team?
Diverse. I would say everyone’s definitely got their own style. I wear a two-piece to work all the time to be honest, but a lot of people wear smart casual, a lot of denim, polo shirts. Everyone dresses in their own style.
Gigi

My name is Gigi. I just started working for Kith two months ago and I’m very proud of being part of the new flagship store in London. I’ve had quite an extensive background in retail and I’m proud to extend that in Kith as well – I’m part of the operations team.
What would you say is Kith’s ethos and how does it align with you?
It’s definitely friends and family for sure, and that aligns with me because I love my friends, I love my family and it just makes the work vibe more fun.
What’s your Kith Treats order?
I’m not much of a Treats person but I can never say no to the almond croissants; they are really nice.
Stephanie

My name is Stephanie and I’m Colombian. I started as a customer experience advisor at Kith and then I moved into operations.
What would you say is Kith’s ethos and visual language?
I know everyone will say friends and family but for me, it’s also the community. Especially since working at Kith, I’ve learned so much about what they have done in New York in terms of helping the community and charities. I can see how important it is for them to give back, which I think is really cool. Compared to other retailers, there’s more care for their own people and community which makes me more proud of representing the brand.
What’s your favourite piece in the store right now?
For myself, it’s the Alonso jacket. It’s a piece that, if you look at it, is quite simple. But there are so many variations, especially with every single season. It’s a must-have piece because you can actually wear it with anything at any time. The quality is really good and you have a little statement with the Kith label on the back too.
Paolo

I’m Paolo and I work in the operations side of things at Kith. Lifestyle-wise, I’m a cyclist and into fashion. Originally, I’m from the Philippines, and then I moved to Dublin 15 years ago before moving here.
What is a typical Kith staff member’s daily uniform?
Definitely the essential hoodies like the Nelson Hoodies, with the old box logo, I think those are the essential to start with. Then you also have items like the rugby shirt that’s really popular right now; you can’t go wrong with rugby shirts in general – and quarter zips as well.
What would you say is Kith’s ethos and how does it align with you?
Kith is definitely all about friends and family and being from the Philippines, I’m definitely big on that. For me, it’s kind of like relearning how to be involved with friends and family more because I went through a time where I just wanted to be solo, in a sense. But, since I joined, I’m starting to relearn the importance of just being around friends and family, in general.
Babs

Hey, my name is Kristopher Babet, also known as Babs – actually, everyone knows me as Babs – and I am the Area Director for London here at Kith.
What would you say is Kith’s ethos and how does it align with you?
I like the fact that with Kith – that’s Ronnie, everybody that I’ve met from head office and from the team – there’s a sense of community, a sense of family, and, ultimately, from Ronnie, a sense of loyalty. I’ve spoken to a lot of the senior members of staff here and they’ve all got their story about how they met Ronnie, what he’s done for them and the opportunities they’ve been given.
Pablo, who’s been amazing for us all here but myself, in particular, is our Global Director Of Retail Experience. His story is that he came from the shop floor in Manhattan to now living nomadically across the globe, working in Paris, Korea, Tokyo, London and helping us all and that’s just Ronnie showing faith in him, just like he’s done with a lot of us. So I would say that the ethos of Kith is one of loyalty, community and family first, which massively aligns with me. I have a huge family, four sisters, two brothers and lots of friends which I love dearly.
What’s your Kith Treats order?
The Sylvester is my go-to Treats order because I love the apple in it. But Simon at Treats – if you’re in London and you want ice cream, go and ask for Simon. He has a secret menu item that’s always pretty fun where he’s done some combinations that are more London-grown, they’re good as well. But yeah, so it’s the Sylvester.
What an order.
Exactly – what a place.
Hannah

My name’s Hannah, I’m half English, half Portuguese and I work in womenswear at Kith.
What about Kith attracted you to apply and join the team?
I think the community, the variety of style and inclusiveness that you get just shine through with the team. Kith is just iconic. It’s just a great place to be, very supportive, very caring and super diverse. I think that shines through the backgrounds of people which makes it super cool and interesting. Yeah, a massive community, very kind, very caring.
What would you say is Kith’s ethos and how does it align with you?
Kith and Kin, friends and family, I think that just speaks through. But also what Kith does behind the scenes. There’s a lot of community work which I didn’t know of before I joined and a lot of charity work. They do so much for kids education-wise and supporting families that aren’t as fortunate, they just really go above and beyond which I really appreciate.
Maria

Hi, my name is Maria. I’m second in charge of the operations side of the business and I’m Portuguese.
How would you define the style of the team?
Authentic, comfortable, unique.
What is a typical Kith staff member’s daily uniform?
Definitely a pair of jeans. Timberlands and a fitted hat, definitely. Very New York.
What’s your Kith Treats and Ronnie’s order?
I would say when you’re at Ronnie’s, get your matcha or your Spanish latte, they’re really good. The hash browns are 10/10 as well, so good. For Treats, definitely the waffles. They’re nice and light.
Jack

My name’s Jack, I’m 27 years old. I’m from South London. My background is primarily retail, but I’m also an actor. I’m the menswear supervisor here at Kith, so I look after menswear with Nick and Miriam as well. I’ve actually worked for the company before, like six years ago.
What would you say is Kith’s ethos and how does it align with you?
I think it’s always going to be interlinked with Ronnie. It’s his brand and it’s based on everything that encompasses his life. It’s all that he wants to represent, whether that’s clothing, footwear, or lifestyle. I think it’s a very all-encompassing brand, which I think is great because it can then appeal to so many people. By only appealing to Ronnie, it then weirdly appeals to everyone. We have people that come in that don’t know anything about the brand that ask about the BMW stuff because they’re into cars, or people that are into tennis and come in and ask about the Wilson stuff. I think he’s done a really good job of making it so specific that it actually kind of appeals to a huge demographic of people.
I think the ethos, hearing from the American team when they come over, they really care about their staff and they care about progressing people. I think there’s a real emphasis on if you give a lot to the brand, you get a lot out of it.
As a consumer, you can buy a t-shirt or even come in and get a Treats and not feel like you’re being outpriced by anything. You can come in and spend £8 or you can come in and buy a leather jacket for £2,000 so it’s like there’s a real wide sort of variety of items that can be purchased and everyone can leave with something which I think is really nice.
What’s your Kith Treats order?
I make my own. I have quite a weird mix of things that I put in mine: Oreos, white chocolate chip and cookie dough. I haven’t had the waffles yet and I keep hearing that they’re good, so I think I’ll go for the waffles next.
