The bromance of dreams: Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor. The friends-turned-castmates are back together for the silver screen debut of Oliver Hermanus’ The History of Sound, a World War I period piece that first premiered in Cannes earlier this summer. The film follows two young men who meet at the Boston music conservatory on the brink of the US entering the war, in a tale of encounter, memory and love, all interwoven through the resonance of music. And this week, the duo touched down in London for the film’s screening at the London Film Festival – naturally, delivering a menswear moment we wouldn’t want to miss.

Every couple years, you have appointments that are certain to shake up the fashion high street. Think Christophe Lemaire with Uniqlo U, Raf Simons at Calvin Klein and, now, Aaron Esh as AllSaints’ new chief creative officer. Although your first reaction might be confusion, after thinking about it deeper, you’ll come to realise that this collaboration couldn’t make more sense. A brand rooted in British style and subculture much like Esh’s eponymous label, this refreshed version of AllSaints could prove to be the perfect marriage of Post Party grunge and effortless elegance at an accessible price point. Slated for an official release in Autumn/Winter 2026, we can’t wait to see what the London-based designer cooks up.
Supreme land a new Fox Racing collaboration

After dropping their highly anticipated Number (N)ine collaboration last week, Supreme are turning their attention away from archive stans and to motorsport adrenaline junkies with a new Fox Racing capsule. Marking their first collab in two years, this line pays homage to the late DMX with his name plastered on the back of the racing jersey along with the chest guard, helmet and bomber gloves. In typical Supreme fashion, the collection also includes a sweatsuit set with contrast piping and panels in black, blue, white/pink, and camo. Other items include matching headwear, a cozy wool sweater, work jackets and carpenter trousers. The collection will be available to shop online and in-store on 23rd October.
Mr Porter and Drake’s collaborate in support of men’s mental health

Now in its sixth year, the In Mind initiative has helped to drive conversations about the all-important actions surrounding men’s mental health. To support the idea of community and expressing yourself through style, Drake’s and Mr Porter have created a capsule that taps into British heritage like Saville Row tailoring. Colourful striped sweaters and textured sport coats dominate the preppy collection, with the black shearling car coat being the pick of the lot. The result is a vibrant offering that’s the perfect amalgamation of off-duty, casual dressing for the modern gentleman. The new collection is available to purchase now online, with 100 per cent of the profits from the first month also going towards Movember – the leading charity for men’s health.
All your favourites rocked up to Academy Museum Gala
Quickly building the reputation as one of the most revered nights in Hollywood despite only being on its fifth edition, the yearly gala saw the industry’s biggest stars show out for the big occasion. Jeff Goldblum stepped out in a full ERL look that replaced your regular tuxedo jacket with a rather voluptuous puffer jacket. Colman Domingo was rocking literal menswear gold with his shiny Valentino jacket courtesy of Alessandro Michele. Man About Town cover stars Charlie Hunnam, Tom Blyth and Jacob Elordi all impressed in dapper suits and tuxedos and Role Model’s look caught our eye with a rather sheer and glittery polo that peeked through from his jacket.
Represent Owners Club returns

After a year and a half of tweaking and perfecting, Represent is back with its Owners Club line – and they’ve got Manchester United’s very own Mason Mount to front the campaign. Going back to the drawing board and brainstorming how to evolve the brand, not just with the current trends but to uphold a standard of growth that George and Mike Heaton have set for themselves, the Owners Club comeback is better than ever. It’s all in the details, with updated prints and fabrications on t-shirts so they can also be worn inside out, adjusted silhouettes for a more modern finish and even softer compositions to keep you cosy all season long. The line is available to shop online and in-stores now.

Schott NYC has been on a tear recently. And a collaboration with The Kooples, an upcoming collaboration with Mfpen teased by founder Sigurd Bank on Instagram, and now Samsøe Samsøe proves it. The four-piece collection sees the Scandi outfit give their take on Schott’s signature leather Saboy and Safreya range, with standout details like the oversized, shearling collar and a worn, textured finish. The collaboration is available to shop online and in-store now.
Alexander Skarsgård might’ve just won LFF

Halterneck shirt, motorcycle on the red carpet and a rottweiler? Yes, it’s safe to say Alexander Skarsgård has taken the cake for most aura at LFF this year for the premiere of his latest film: Pillion. The Swedish actor has been working closely with his stylist Harry Lambert for his press run, exploring the themes of BDSM and queer relationships in a biker gang from the movie through his outfits. From knee-high boots from Saint Laurent at Cannes to this Ludovic de Saint Sernin ensemble, he’s nailed it every single time. This one is definitely our favourite, though.
Jacquemus organised a free exhibition in Paris

At this point, is there anything Simon Porte Jacquemus can’t do? From 20th to 24th October, the french designer will be organising a free exhibition at the College des Bernadins in Paris titled Myths, bringing together the works from Antiquity and sculptures by Aristide Maillol to create a scenography experience. Happening in collaboration with Galerie Chenel and Galerie Dina Vierny, the exhibition will continue to run at these locations from 30th October to 20th December, in case you miss it.
Stone Island turns to denim

Courtesy of Stone Island
Stone Island first dabbled with denim in the 1980s and revived its use of the material under the Stone Island Denims label in the 2000s. Now the Italian menswear label is working with the material under its freshly launched “Denim Research” line.
The project started in Japan, a world-leader in denim. It was here where the diffusion line first launched with boxy 13.5oz jackets and boxy selvedge denim pants. But given this is Stone Island, a label known for its technical material innovations, it turned things up a notch. Here it used its “Polypropylene denim” previously used in a one-off line in 2016 to make denim more hardwearing and water resistant. With co-signs from Corteiz designer Clint 419 and actor Alessandro Borghi, this new offering might be worth a look. Shop the new collection online and in-stores.
Geordie Campbell drops its latest slogan tee

If you love Geordie Campbell’s tees but don’t identify as a “British Boy”, you’re in luck because he’s dropping a new slogan tee that might resonate with you a bit more: “Good Boy”. Taken from his Autumn/Winter 2025 “Michaelmas” collection, it’s all about showing off to stand out rather than for achievement. So if you want the whole world to know you’re a Good Boy, head over to his web store on 24th October.
Universal Works team up with Paraboot

Whether you want a more comfortable take on a dress shoe or you’re a born and bred sneakerhead that’s looking for something smarter, Paraboot has quickly become the go-to footwear brand for those two groups and anyone in between. That’s why their latest collaboration with Universal Works makes complete sense, both sharing the same ethos of subverting traditional menswear to create something more easily wearable. The shoe in question for this partnership is the Michael (which is actually turning eighty this year), with a combination of smooth leather and nappy suede, a removable fringe, debossed lettering and seeing three exclusive colourways: black, coffee and sand. The shoes alongside collaborative apparel are available online and in-store now.
