Chabanon was quarantined with models August Gonet and Matthew McMahon, and figured the situation was the perfect opportunity to channel some creativity amid all the uncertainty. So, together with stylist Yael Quint, the team embarked on a shoot that painted a positive spin on isolation.

 

The concept for the shoot centres around the models’ close relationship with Chabanon looking to portray their unique characters through a “Bonnie and Clyde” meets “Amercian Psycho” story where we see the complexities of a relationship develop and grow. Quint’s styling reflects the subject’s individual personalities and progresses as the story reveals more of their relationship, with Balenciaga AW20 in particular having a sartorial influence.
