“There’s always been something really positive about being known as an actor. It is so tied to your success in your career and the idea that you are working. However, there's something so strange about the idea that to have success in this industry, there's a bargain, because you sell your anonymity. I'm really interested as to what that will be like, because it sort of feels like I'm awaiting this impending change and no one knows what that’s like until you do it.” 

When Corey Mylchreest sat down with Man About Town, he was weeks shy of a career-defining introduction to the world in Bridgerton spin-off, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Now, just four days since the show’s release, audiences around the world have been captivated by the 25-year-old’s tender portrayal of a young King George in the show, making him one of the most buzz-worthy actors on the planet. Covering our Spring/Summer 2023 issue, Mylchreest talks on preparing to step into such a treasured TV universe, the moment he found out he got the role and his reasoning for making acting his vocation of choice.
