"I knew quite early on that [acting] was my big passion which is such a privilege because I saw a lot of my friends struggle to find their passion, to find what they wanted to do for the rest of their lives. For any job, you need a lot of energy and excitement, and passion simply creates an incredible amount of energy. Without it, I couldn't get through weeks or even months of filming."

With an already successful acting career in his native Germany, Louis Hofmann's first English-language role in Netflix's All The Light We Cannot See, alongside the likes of Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie, looks set to make him one of world's favourite leading men.
