“The first thing that caught my eye was that Fate: The Winx Saga]was in the fantasy genre. I grew up on that, it was my love as a kid. I grew up on a farm so would take pots and pans and go and pretend to use them as armour. So when I heard that I’d be given a bunch of knives to fight monsters, I was in my element. I’ve been preparing for this role for 20 years, essentially.”
