“[Releasing this album is] kind of the same feeling as my debut because with my debut, I had no idea what people were going to think. This album is such a big shift that I don't really know what people are going to think. I think some people will love it and some people will hate it, and it's going to be a really interesting time just seeing what everybody thinks.”

Conan Gray’s upcoming LP Found Heaven might mark his third album, but as his first made with pre-eminent pop songwriter Max Martin and covering subject areas Gray’s never touched on before, it signals a career-defining, watershed moment that promises to leave an indelible mark on both his own legacy and the pop world around him. Covering our Spring/Summer 2024 issue, the 25-year-old talks looking to the ’70s and ‘80s for the record’s inspiration, working with Martin, finding his own heaven, documenting a breakup for the first time in his work and exchanging thoughts on music with best friend, Olivia Rodrigo.
