Reflecting on the project, his favourite artists and albums, alongside the inspiration behind the title, Noble Lyfe explains DANCE or DIE! is a culmination of my experiences as an artist moving through life as my genuine self. My father always told me to follow my heart and be true to myself and that’s what I am always trying to accomplish with my music. My favourite artist ever growing up was Michael Jackson. Off The Wall is still one of my favourite albums ever but so is Carter 3. I am equally moved by both. The lyricism of rap music and the instrumentation of dance music has always felt like the perfect marriage to me. Whether it’s disco, house, or techno, I’ve always loved sounds that make me want to get up and dance. The title DANCE or DIE! is about the relationship between the beat selection of my songs and the lyrics fuelled by trap music. But this title also serves as a mantra for my life. As long as I choose to dance, I am alive. The moment I chose not to I’m dead. Never stop moving your feet to the beat of life.
